As if foreclosing on the home wasn’t bad enough, thieves broke into a house located on the north side of Des Moines and took virtually everything. With the loss estimated at more than $10,000 the thieves took off with the oak cabinets, a new furnace, the water heater, a medicine cabinet, a bathroom vanity, and even the kitchen sink.
