In honor of High School Musical 3 (opening today in theaters nationwide), I decided to dedicate an entire post to High School Milestones - you know, the big moments and events that we all treasure (or would like to erase from memory).

The First Day of High School!
Ah, the fear, intimidation, and nervousness I felt when I entered that massive building. In fact, I remember exactly what I was wearing and since it was still the 90's, unfortunately it was overalls.

The Prom
a.k.a. an excuse for girls to show cleavage and get wasted. But that aside, prom was a blast and we (thankfully) did not have it in the school (like so many high schools seem to do - what's up with that?). And while I didn't look as freakin' hot as Marissa Cooper, it was great to show off that I do in fact clean up nicely.

Senior Portraits
My Utah senior portraits were honestly such a blast! None of those ugly drapes over the girls and suits and ties. We could go casual with the photographer of our choice, which really makes a difference. Plus, photoshop...what a blessing!
